Our Team

Our Leadership

We might be biased, but we believe we have the best team leading our church week after week! Marshall Road is guided by Pastor Roy, supported by an amazing team of gifted, creative, and dedicated individuals who work tirelessly to serve with excellence and heart.

Roy Ryder

Lead Pastor

In 1997, Roy started serving in the church and has not stopped. He has served in many ministries, including kids, students, men’s, and married couples. He has overseen almost all aspects of church life. Over the years, Roy has served in the role of teacher, deacon, elder, and Assistant Pastor before becoming the Lead Pastor at Marshall Road.

Roy is passionate about teaching people the Bible and encouraging them to discover God’s calling on their lives, all the while teaching them to disciple and bring others along with them. His life verse is Romans 12:1-2: “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” It reminds us that we are in constant transformation as we walk with God.

Roy serves alongside his AWESOME wife, Kristi, who is his helpmate in all they do, from serving together when they can to raising their three daughters. Kristi is passionate about teaching and discipling other women, desiring to help them grow in their knowledge of and walk with God. They have fun exploring new places, from places to food to random drives to see leaves and waterfalls.

Outside of ministry, Roy enjoys family adventures, trying new things, smoking meat, and collecting Hot Wheels (because real cars are expensive).

christopher HArt

Assistant Pastor

Since 2015, Chris has served in various ministry roles, including men’s, youth, and young adult ministries, as well as teaching and worship teams. He is passionate about helping others discover God’s promises and purpose for their lives through Biblical teaching and discipleship. His life is guided by Luke 10:27: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart… and love your neighbor as yourself.”

Chris serves alongside his wife, Kimberly, who faithfully encourages and inspires him in ministry. Kimberly has a heart for children, youth, and people of all ages, bringing joy and encouragement to everyone she meets. Together, they are proud parents of four adult children and grandparents to one amazing grandson.

Outside of ministry, he enjoys art, old cars, guitars, and spending time with family and friends.

Amy Boswell

Administration / Kids Director

Since 1992, Amy has served in Kids ministry and is passionate about kids and teaching them about who Jesus is and helping them develop their own relationship with Christ.  Amy considers it a privilege to work with kids and their families to make learning FUN.  She prays that all kids will learn the love that Jesus has for them and use it to make a difference wherever they may be.  The enthusiasm of a kid who loves to come to church never gets old!  Amy has also served in church administration since 2013.

Amy serves alongside her husband, Randy, who is always there to help out with setup, cleanup, or whatever Amy tells him to do!  Together, they have one daughter, Hannah, who is a soon-to-be graduate of Ouachita Baptist University, as well as having a spoiled Corgi named Millie.

Outside of ministry, Amy and her family enjoy trying their hand at escape rooms, hanging out with friends, or watching sports together.

Casey Moore

Student Director

Casey Moore has been serving in youth ministry since 2021, bringing energy, passion, and relatable personal stories to help students grow closer to God. His outgoing personality keeps him on the move, but his favorite verse, Psalm 46:10 - “Be still and know that I am God”, reminds him to find grounding in God’s presence, even in the busyness of life.

Casey’s wife, Brooke, serves alongside him in ministry. As an educator, she brings fresh perspectives that help keep conversations engaging and practical. Together, they are proud parents to their two beautiful daughters, Chaney and Reagan.

When Casey isn’t leading youth, you’ll find him cheering for the Razorbacks, while Brooke firmly believes that cheese dip can cure just about anything. The Moores are passionate about investing in the next generation and building strong relationships with students and families alike.

teri cox-meadows

OutReach Director

Fall of 2022: Teri serves as Outreach Director and in Women’s Ministry. She is passionate about bringing the broken to meet Jesus through missions, music, and Biblical teaching.

Her life is guided by the foundational truth that eternity matters and that we have much time to make a lasting impact on the people God puts in our paths.

Teri works alongside her husband, Bryan Meadows, who serves as a deacon and assists with behind-the-scenes jobs like moving the church grounds and janitorial duties.

Together, they fully understand the second chance of marriage after widowhood. They have three grown children and one grown grand, but their most expensive child is a miniature schnauzer.

Outside of ministry, Teri enjoys traveling with her non-profit, Daryl’s Music Makers, and teaching leaders and world-changers through her firm, Cox Consulting. If she rests, it’s by water with a cup of hot tea and a puzzle.
